About the Workshop
The 1st IEEE International Workshop on Cyber Forensics in Social Media (CFSM-2024) is running in conjunction with the 11th IEEE International Conference on Social Networks Analysis, Management and Security (SNAMS-2024) scheduled at Gran Canaria, Spain, on December 9-11, 2024. The Workshop invites the submission of original research papers, case studies, and technical reports on various aspects of cyber forensics and investigation in social media. This workshop aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the field.

Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished work that is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. The following submission guidelines must be adhered to:
- Paper Format: Submissions should be formatted according to the IEEE conference paper template.
- Length: Papers should not exceed 6 pages, including references and appendices.
- Submission Process: All papers must be submitted through the workshop's EasyChair submission page https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=gcet2024/.. Make sure you choose the right Workshop, under the given Tracks
- Review Process: All submissions will undergo a single-blind peer review process. Authors must ensure that their manuscripts do not contain identifying information.

Registration
The Conference registration covers the proceedings, author pack, access to all sessions and keynotes, gala-dinner, lunches and coffee breaks and publication fees with IEEE including the the whole publication process
The main conference and workshops papers need a full registration. Otherwise, the paper will be exculded from the proceedings.
Second registered paper by the same attending Author will received a 30% discount, additional registration by the same attending author will receive 50% discount. A full registration is required per attendee
you are welcome to acompany other people with you to the Gala Dinner, provided that Additional Gala Dinner tickets are purchased at $70 USD per person each.

Publication
Accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings and made available in IEEE Xplore, ensuring wide dissemination and visibility within the research community.
